AMTYP is free for every young person on it. That works because people give — money, time, or a door held open. Here are the three ways to help, and who to talk to about each.
Donate
Every place on AMTYP is free — no fees, no equipment costs, no travel costs. Donations pay for studio time, materials, travel for the cohort, and the Creative Grants of up to £500 that alumni use to make their own work.
We also raise money through creative collaborations. The Future Utopia print collection, made with Studio PI, commissioned six illustrators and split the profit 50/50 between the artists and AMTYP. If you'd like to build something like that with us, tell us what you have in mind.
Sponsor us
Sponsorship funds a whole strand of the programme for a year — a discipline, a cohort, or a season of events — and gives your team a real relationship with the young people behind it, not just a logo on a page.
Tell us roughly what you have in mind and we'll come back with what that would cover, how it's credited, and what the year looks like month by month.
Become a partner
Every young person on AMTYP is matched with partners who suit their creative interests — across art, design, film, fashion, music and business. You share your time and knowledge; we handle the rest.
Host a placement. Take a young creative for at least one week of work experience over the summer, matched to their interests.
Mentor one-to-one. Share your path, review their work, and offer guidance. A few hours can change someone's direction.
Run a workshop or brief. Lead a session or set a live project for the cohort — in your studio or ours.
