Who it's for

The programme is free, and it's built for people who are just getting going.

  • You're aged 16–18
  • You live in south London
  • You can get to the studio for the sessions
  • No portfolio, no qualifications, no previous experience needed
02

The four strands

The form asks which one you're applying for. Pick the one closest to where your work already lives — you won't be held to it forever.

FilmShorts, docs, visual essays. Cameras and edit suites.
PrintRiso, screen-print, zine-binding.
SoundOpen studio — tape machines, mics, MPCs.
WordsMonthly writers' gathering, editorial feedback.
03

What we're looking for

Curiosity and commitment, not a finished body of work. We want to know what you're interested in making and that you'll turn up for the sessions.

You don't need to have made anything polished. A rough idea you care about tells us more than a tidy one you don't.

04

What you'll need to hand

Have these ready before you open the form — it takes about ten minutes.

  • Your name, age, postcode and email
  • One piece of work in any medium — a link, a photo, or just a sentence describing it
  • A few sentences on why you want to be part of the programme
05

What happens after you apply

We'll invite you to a short conversation within two weeks — it's a chat, not an interview. You'll hear our decision about three weeks after that, and successful applicants come to an induction session before the programme starts.

Your details are held for up to two years. See our Privacy Policy for how we use them.
